This budget lappy will surely make many consumers smiling with a big grin on their faces. One must wonder, this smile gadget is it worth getting? Base on my opinion. YES!!
The first thing u notice is the aluminum casing. Sliver and shining texture gives an glittery aura that will surely sparkle your day! Although the physical drawback is that it weights 5kg, its sleek display makes up for it by letting the owner feel smart and professional!
When the laptop is flipped open, the screen resides on a low height so that students won’t be able to hide behind it and avoid the teachers. lol. Oh and i didn't mention the keyboard is spillproof! In case for those avid lappy's user who might be careless and thus spilling some water on it. And this mini superbrain comes with built in wi-fi which is very useful! Oh a card reader slot as well and an accelerometer which will prevent the hard drive from spinning to hard when the laptop is dropped.
HP claims that the battery will last 2.5hrs or 5hr with extended battery.. good or bad its for u to decide. Interesting concept up to date.
Well bottom line is.. its small and effective. Most importantly, it don't cost a bomb compared to all the other laptops in the market. If i have the cash. i would gladly lay hands on it!! But.. Prince aloy is poor.. T_T
7:30am: I slept over in my centre preparing notes for my Awesome students. Woke up early to meet my secondary school clique of friends for swimming. Guess where? On the tower top of Suntec City. It’s a cool place to swim on a Thursday morning.
9:00am: As I walked pass the heavy traffic of people scurrying to work. Here I was, in my berms, having breakfast at Hans.
10:00am: My friends had left me for work. I had to think of what to do next. So I decided to walk through Citylink to get onboard the MRT to go to Orchard. Its an interesting thing to observe that I was the only one walking in the opposite direction while the rest of the people were all heading in the other.. of course to work.
10:15am: I headed for Kinokuniya bookstore in Taka. And spent about half an hour browsing through some architectural and tennis magazines. Then I bought a few books.
11:00am: Since it was still early, I decided that I could have tea and some dessert at my all-time favourite café- Coffee club. Spent some quiet time with myself, indulging myself with an unknown passion I have for- tennis magazines. And my favourite dessert- Chocolate Delice, was simply Awesome!
1230pm: Went walking around Taka, and got myself a few shirts. Everywhere also says SALE.
130pm: Headed for California gym. Today is running day. Ran on the thread mill for an hour. Had a nice bath and was ready for the day.
330pm: Back at Annexe-project centre. Ready for my first lesson.
Actually the life of a tutor is really not that bad. And I’m not joking, there are really some students that can always bring a smile to my face whenever I’m weary.
Nokia definitely has one of the most interesting concept phones. This Communicator is one futuristic concept phone. The phone, which uses liquid batteries, speech recognition, flexible touchscreen and touch-sensitive body cover, is an award winning model.
2. Nokia Aeon
Nokia Aeon was presented by Nokia on their website in the Research & Development section. What is so great about this phone is that it looks like it will actually go into production in the near future. Of course, its just a rumor, but still, it makes us hope to actually see it appear in some handphone shops. But all we know about it for now is that its a touchscreen phone and it looks superb!!
3. Sky 'Sleak n Slim'
'Sleek & Slim' from SKY is another concept based on touchscreen technology. The phone has a discretely glowing touchpad, secretive keys and generally sophisicatedly fashionable minimalist design.
4. Benq-Siemes 'Snaked'
Benq designers had the women thinking too and presented Snaked. This is a 'reptile' looking phone, creepy and whirly somehow, but still is very cool. The Snaked is a fashion phone for sport loving women, because it also has body monitoring sensors to help the ladies keep those fine figure.
5. What You See is What You Get Concept
One thing is for sure about this concept phone… they could've named it shorter. Designed by Pei-Hua Hang, the phone's name comes from the fact that this concept no longer uses an LCD as viewfinder for the digital camera, instead it uses a transparent frame. And of course, interaction is made through a touchscreen.
6. Retroxis By Dark Label
If most phones presented here will never be sold in store obviously, the Retroxis concept phone from Dark Label looks kinda humanly, and makes us hope we'll be able to lay hands on it one of these days. Designed by Lim Sze Tat the phone is encased in high polished polycarbonate renowned for its lightweight and toughness and has an invisible OLED display that silently fades away when inactive.
7. Benq-Siemens 'The Blackbox'
Black Box designed by Benq-Siemens uses a touch screen as its keypad and, depending on the functions you are using, the touch screen changes the control layout immediately.
8. NEC Tag
Somehow similar to the Snaked concept, the NEC Tag is a flexible phone concept that can be , for example, hung from a belt or wrapped around the user's arm. Interesting is that the phone has shape-memorizing material and sensors that allows the phone to change its shape according to the mode.
9. TripleWatch
Though the idea of a cellphone watch is not so new, the TripleWatch designed by Manon Maneenawa has an interesting triple flip technique that allows the user to transform the watch into either a normal cellphone. When used as a wrist watch, the phone has a speaker button that allows the user to answer the phone and hang up while driving.
Avril Lavigne is pretty. really gorgeous. One of my favourite singer. Blessed with a a pretty face and a good voice. I must rub my eyes a couple of times to ensure what i'm seeing is reality.
Deryck Whibley, what on earth is he doing to poor Avril? It’s a shock to see his hands all over Avril’s body! Normally, the only time you’d see a pretty girl let a guy like this molest her without screaming for help is after he hit her over the head with a club, dragged her to his cave, chained her to a rock and threatened to kill her family. Although, Avril does look unconscious in the header photo. So, maybe that’s an accurate description of what happened?

Some random videos that i found on the net. Your friendly neighbourhood Spiderman and your local superhero Batman are beating the crap out of a guy. Issit someone bad? It is said that these 2 normally dress up in the superhero costumes and demand money when people take pictures with them. High class beggers some might say. Oh, and this clip was taken in America.
I had been failing and always getting a sub-passing grade. In other words, i've never pass my maths. My maths grades were not very ideal since J1. I got an S for my J1 promos exams and had to take re-paper. I did not hate maths but just that sometimes when i practice, i meet with problems that i cannot solve and thus resulting to a halt. As a result, i do not have the motivation to continue doing maths.
Then i came to seek help from Alvin, together with my friend. The first lesson he conducted, i thought " this guy teaches quite well, at least i understands." After the first few lessons, i suddenly had a different perception about maths. I thought "at last, i've got hope in at least securing an A at the end of 'A' levels.
Alvin is not like those normal tuition teachers that just gives you maths to keep practising till u get sick of the subject. He teaches you patiently and systematically in his own "High class manner". He really puts in effort to prepare his lessons rather than coming unprepared. Although limited vocabulary is used.. words like "Awesome", but it's still a form of encouragement for the students.
By the way, he is an AWESOME tutor! My maths grade improved tremendously from an S during mid-year to an E during prelims and finally an A for 'A' levels. This A to me is very crucial because the courses in university that i wanted to take required very good maths grades. I was thus very grateful because with only my hardwork and without his help, my interest in maths could not develope so quickly.
If anyone were to ask me which tuition centre provides the best tuition, i would recommend the person Annexe Project and the tutor Alvin Yeo. Students out there don't have to worry because i know he will definitely do his utmost best to help plan out a study schedule like how he did for us.
Alvin has not only been a very good tutor, at the same time, he is also a very good friend, a good mentor and a good role model. Although you'll feel pressurize learning from him, but the bottom line is what you gain isn't only the academic results, but true FRIENDSHIP.

I first sought help from Alvin for H2 Math during mid-year of my JC2 after learning of the wonderful grades for math my seniors achieved under the supervision and guidance of Alvin.
Before that, my math grades were fluctuating within the minimum pass grade and that got me anxious as i was going to sit for the 'A' levels exams that year.
My initial perception of math tutors usually depicts an image of an old man with a fierce looking countenance. However, when i attended my first lesson, that mentality took a complete revolution when i saw Alvin to be a hyped-up youth just like myself!
My pleasant impression of Alvin accentuated when i realised how easily he was able to communicate with students such as myself and how effective he was in delivering mathematical ideas and concepts to students.
Another plus points of having Alvin as a tutor is his unparallel time management and planning skills. He would organise lessons not based on subjects that are not yet taught, but rather on topics where we did not flair in.
Despite joining Alvin's reputable tuition group at such a late timing, Alvin was sufficiently able to prepare us for our mid year exams which experience a jump of grade for me from any previous common test.
What really struck me about Alvin then was that he was always a cheerful and amiable person who will never refuse anyone the right of having tuition despite his or her circumstances. He always encouraged us as he shared stories of his ex students and also tips to prepare for our examinations.
Alvin is not just a teacher to us , he is also a good friend and mentor who always shares his life experiences and learning values that proves to be beneficial along life's arduous pathway.
For Alvin, he firmly believes that education does not stop at just working hard and achieving the grades. The 'play' element must be appropriately fitted into the hectic journey of studying. Hence, Alvin would occasionally organise outings so that the students can let their hair down and enjoy themselves thoroughly without compromising on their studies.
During the last grueling months of preparation for the big 'A's, Alvin would avail himself always to give us extra lessons and guidance at the expense of his busy schedule and comfort. Such an aspect of a selfless teacher can never cease to leave a long lasting impression on ones’ memory bank, a trait that i would want to emulate.
I am glad that i have met Alvin and never regretted any tuition session or time spent with him as i have inherited a great wealth of life lessons from him.
If you students out there are in desperate need of a tuition teacher, do not hesitate to approach Alvin. Of course, do not be too demanding in your expectations as Alvin does not work miracles. Hard work and a fierce tenacity is absolutely essential in getting the As that we all care for.

Filming can become tiring and even gruesome at times. Although sometimes kimmi has to endure the tough conditions of filming under the hot humid weather and even in forests, she says the body mist from Bodyshop keeps her refreshed and energised each time she uses it. And yes, she loves the Cassis Rose flavour type!
Za Eyeliner
Kimmi strongly recommends the Everliner Br22 from ZA. She says that this series of eyeliner does not smudge easily and don’t require you to apply lots of pressure while using it. Br22 is her favourite choice of colour as it is close to skin colour yet brings out the radiance and energy in her. Erm.. she was so enthusiastic in recommending me the eyeliner that I almost thought for a moment she forgot that I was a guy! Looks like our princess really love this product..

Background Story
Was attacked by the Quantum monster found in the whatever so-called newest syllabus of H2 PhysicLand. Came all the way from far far away Tinto Pinto Land to seek help from her royal brothers. After a long struggle with the Quantum monster, princess Shan Shan was finally able to slaughter the monster with her powerful formula of the Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principles. How she managed that, till this day she is still Uncertain.

After the awesome 2007 A-levels, Princess Shan Shan is currently waiting to start her course in Marketing in SIM. Meanwhile she hopes to work part-time from now till july. It seems like studying in a fun environment isn’t good enough to keep the knights and princesses in the royal kingdom focused in fighting against the M.O.E virus, hence the 2nd prince, Leonard, decides to hold a much anticipated courtyard badminton tournament today! It is long heard that Prince Leonard has been the reigning champion of badminton of annexeproject land and his Awesome Leoleo’s serve is rumoured to be able to make any lady present fall head over heels for him. The rumours and hearsays brought hustle and excitement to the whole town of annexeproject and by midnoon, the royal courtyard was already packed with the most incredible crowd ever seen in the history of annexeproject.

Clearly enough, badminton is the main strength that Prince Leonard excels in. Challengers stepped into the court brimming with confidence and enthusiasm. But the very next minute, challengers would be seen walking out of the 'battlefield' heads hung low and dejected. It didn't take long before Dragon fighter Derrick and Dragon fighter Nicholas challenge Prince Leonard to a double 2v1 duel. Striding his way through all his opponents, Prince Leonard's confidence has already escalated sky high and he is sure that this battle will once again end up with the same victorious smile.

The Victory
A hard fought match ensued the moment they were allowed to start. Fans from both opposition were rooting with pride and cheering their man on courageously. Alas! the score was tied at 14-14 after a fierce showdown, and it was Prince Leonard’s turn to give his almighty LeoLeo's victory serve. The shuttlecork flew over to the opposite court with great conviction and determination. Prince Leonard smiled, thinking that he has sealed the deal as nobody has ever successfully countered his finishing move, he gave a thumps up! Wait a minute!!! General Derrick had managed a last minute save with his DerDer lowblow counter! Just when everyone was glued to the where the shuttlecork will land, the shuttlecork split and 'exploded' in mid air, leaving the judge with no choice but to declare a draw for the game.
The faded sunshine after the conclusion of the mid-year exams provides a sinister facade to the fact that the final exams are just 5 months away. Therefore Prince Alvin gathers his 2 brothers, sat down at their imperial meeting room and decided to brain wreck for a strategy to stop the virus plaguing the land. The implementation
Fusing together the elements of fun and joy of learning, the 3 princes reckon that this revolutionary idea of Exam Crashers would be both radical as well as beneficial for those infected with the M.O.E virus. However, the stock for this antidote is only enough to last for another three weeks and by then the remaining infected population would have to depend on sheer hard work and determination to deter the virus. Thus they wasted no time in implementing their plan to use. As good as it seems, the plan seems to work well and it's still gaining popularity. Meanwhile, the princes are still extending their help for those who wishes to join them in their conquest to curb the growing virus. Lets CRASH the Exam-Monsters!!!
In the beginning, kings ruled the land. Many seeking to be the ultimate one to be feared.
Fights and wars had become a daily event. Until finally one day, King Astro emerged as the supremo that ruled the land. A fearsome leader yet respected by all.
Not satisfied with his achievements, King Astro decided to set off on a new expedition - the conquest to conquer the land of the Exam-Slackers !
The Untold War
The war was long and took its toll on the fighters and the king. As days go by, casualties kept increasing until it reached a point whereby King Astro had to join in the fight and lead his remaining warriors. The king had only victory in his mind and was oblivious to the people around him. His complacency brought his downfall. He was attacked from behind and the king fell to the ground badly injured. Laying motionlessly on the ground, the King’s warriors thought he was dead and decided to withdraw the troops.
The king however miraculously awoke after the dust had settled, the enemies had retreated and the king tried to find his way back, only to realise he had been infected by the deadly Monsters of Exams (M.O.E) virus.
The rise of the Prince(s)
King Astro brought home not only reminisces of his shameful defeat but the deadly virus as well. Victims loom around aimlessly in search of the antidote. This was when the King’s three favoured young princes decided to hatch a plan to stop the epidemic from spreading. The First prince was charismatic and intelligent. Being the first and eldest prince, Alvin brainstormed an Awesome plan to counterattack the monster.
The Second prince, Leonard who is muscular and poised, assisted the First prince in laying out a solid groundwork in preparation for a fierce battle ahead.
Last but not least, the youngest prince, Aloysius, was the baby of the three and like any other typical youngest siblings, was being well protected by his brothers. His role was to assist his brothers to recruit the finest warriors in the country to join in the battle against the Monsters of Exams.
